Something that kept popping up as I reached out to people with the music of 'Everything Is Happening' and a sentiment that was echoed in comment sections and conversations was that the piano and lead melodies that often serves as the foundation for my music would be enough for some people to fall in love with.

I toyed with the idea of what that could look like for me and The Stolen Orchestra and as I found my grand ambitions for new music and other concepts grinding to halts thanks to a certain ailment that shall not be named, I realised that this would be a way to tide the waters over until my ambitions could be satiated.

So in between making other new music that was both grander in size and varied in style, I sat down to compose and arrange some of the pieces that made it onto ‘Everything Is Happening’. Some of them felt perfect for this venture and some songs just simply did not lend themselves to being made into solo piano arrangements. I dug into my archive of ideas that never made it onto the EP and found there were two striking numbers that were simply aching to be finished.

These are ‘Nothing Moves Me’ and ‘All in Time’. They serve as the closing of this little project and I think do so in a fine fashion that feels both wildly intimate and dark, yet grandiose and bright in nature.

This is piano music to soothe the soul. Add it to a calming playlist for sleep, study, prayer, or cleaning or cooking or maybe even exercising. However you so choose to listen, I will simply be thankful you did.
